About Us
K & K Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance was founded in 1980 by Kip Cortelyou as a weekend hobby working as the grounds keeper at Evans Farm Inn. Kip grew up on a farm and has spent his entire life working in agriculture and grounds management. His wife, Kay, who is a full time high school math teacher, helps out with the accounting on the weekends. Their son, Chris, started working with them full time in 2006 as the operations manager.
We currently employ 15 professionals, so no job is too big or too small. We have a large assortment of equipment, or toys as Kay refers to them, for getting jobs done in a quick and professional manner. We run background checks on all of our landscaping professionals.
